A grass-roots initiative including cheese makers, mongers, chefs and cheese guilds from across the country, have teamed up to identify ways to help the struggling American cheese industry. The delicious outcome is the Victory Cheese Box!
Like the Victory Garden movement of a by-gone era, the Victory Cheese Box is a call for citizens to step up and choose domestically produced cheese. Each cheese in this box manifests the unique intent of its maker and reflects a commitment to quality farming, cheese making and deliciousness in every bite.
Our first box includes the following Twig Farm Tomme, from Twig Farm; Oh My Gouda, from Cobb Hill Creamery; Triple Creme, from Champlain Valley Creamery and Womanchego, from Cato Corner Creamery. Accompaniments include Side Hill Farm damson plum preserves and Castelton Crackers. Gluten free crackers are available upon request. $60 for the basket. The total weigh of cheese is approximately 1.75 pounds.
