2010 Clos de Mont Olivet Font de Blanche Cotes du Rhone, Rhone Valley, France: $11.89 (Reg: $13.99)
“(60% grenache and 40% syrah): Opaque purple. Fresh blackberry and blueberry aromas and flavors are complicated by cracked pepper and violet, with a hint of smoke in the background. Very smooth and open-knit, finishing with impressive clarity and peppery length.” 88-90 Points, Josh Raynolds, International Wine Cellar
2013 Verus Sauvignon Blanc, Stajerska, Slovenia: $16.99 (Reg: $19.99)
Slovenian wine may not be main stream here but make no mistake, they make some killer wine. The Verus Sauvignon Blanc is a bit Sancerre like with a bit more fruit forward richness. This is elegant and pure and world class juice.
2010 Antidoto Ribera del Duero, Spain: $19.54 (Reg: $22.99)
“Deep ruby. Raspberry, redcurrant, Asian spices and on the perfumed nose and in the mouth. Sweet, sappy and focused, with silky texture and very good intensity. Finishes spicy and long, with lingering notes of star anise and raspberry. This is extremely graceful for a wine from Ribera del Duero” 91 points, Josh Raynolds, International Wine Cellar
