Pied à Terre makes one wine and one wine only. They do this because they want to focus all of their attention on making the perfect Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s also a priority to do so without raising prices through the roof (read their philosophy here). If you know Napa cabs, you know that prices above $40 are the norm. Antonio Galloni from the Wine Advocate had this to say: “… Pied à Terre is absolutely gorgeous. A soft, refined wine, the 2010 shows the more feminine side of the vintage in its sweet red berries, spices and crushed flowers. A hint of sweet French oak supports the pliant, expressive finish. Simply put, readers will have a hard time finding a better California Cabernet Sauvignon for the money. If you can find it, you won’t be sorry!” You can find it here!…in the California Cabernet Section @ $28.99.
